Pregnancy and the powerful emergence of the Phoenix medicine

What I know to be true is that Phoenix She Rises is more than a book. The poem arrived as a living current mirroring my own death-birth life cycle. It forged itself through many countless cycles, initiations and awakenings carrying within it seeds of grief and loss, renewal and regeneration, stirring my womb and heart and a new becoming. My personal transformation became a rebirthing of truth emerging through devotion, commitment, perspiration and inspiration – a true rising from the ashes.

Interestingly, something extraordinary also began to happen during the writing process. I had teamed up with an editor to support my writing. She was with me during the midwifing of Phoenix, through her many iterations at the initial 8 verses, then 15, 25, 35, 50, 55, 70. Each version, reshaping the poem and shaping the field around it.

During this time, she fell pregnant. I recall thinking at the time, oh, the first little Phoenix baby.

I employed a personal assistant, and in a few short months she too was pregnant.

I signed with a publisher, and they assigned a female illustrator. The process slowed for the first illustrations to come through. I found out the delay was that she was unwell and, wait for it, she was in her first trimester.

She then welcomed a support illustrator into the project and after aligning her with the womb-coherence and intuitive field of Phoenix she too discovered she was carrying new life, her first child.

Three of these four women were first time mothers. One, had a ten-year gap between children. Not only was a baby being born but a mother was also birthing herself beyond the singularity.

One after another, each woman who entered the portal of Sophia, encompassing the field of the Phoenix medicine found herself in her own season of creation. It was my direct experience when Phoenix and a whole new body of work was coming through, it was carrying a deeper vibration. Many of these poems, prayers and prose pieces are transmissions bypassing thought and awakening remembrance. Clearly, a portal was being opened, and activations were happening - this poetic narrative carried a higher frequency - the archetype of birth, being one of them. It was not only my womb that had been activated by Sophia’s seed, it was also the collective womb of many women who either placed her hands on this work or were radically moved by the spoken word transmissions. The beautiful women working for me were shedding an old skin - dying to the chapter of either maidenhood, of single life, of being childless, of being a mother of one (10yr old) and birthing a new cycle of creation.

Can you imagine the joy this phenomena bought to not only these women, but to me as the one holding this field?

I have witnessed again and again what this level of consciousness does for those who enter it. When we step into the depths of the Sophia consciousness, transmutation and alchemy happen. When we align with Her, the dormant becomes fertile, the creation is seeded and sown in the current of her and it does not remain singular – it creates a field, a blossoming

beyond the singularity, and in the sacred pulse of her womb, creation remembers itself as soft, fertile, endlessly alive and in the cyclical nature of becoming.

A book, a vision, new life - the feminine rising is here. We were born for this, and the phoenix medicine is a potent elixir of transmutation. It's a generative force that not only rises from the ashes, but conceives new life in the very fire of transformation. And so, we rise, fully alive to the fire of the Phoenix medicine within us, birthing new creations, new visions and the luminous emergence of the feminine into embodied presence.
