Mother Nature

Behold this sacred land of ours

Our forests and our seas

Our animals, our birds, our fish

Protect them from dis-ease

They belong to Mother Gaia

The land and sea on which we walk

Has man now pushed it all too far?

Has the road now reached its fork

Our human interaction

Causing immeasurable harm

When do we do things differently?

For she’s sounding her alarm

She clearly speaks the loudest

She knows just what to do

Sit long enough in quiet with her

She’ll commune and speak with you

She holds the ancient wisdom

The foundation of her ground

Her patterns and her rhythms

Cycle round and round and round

She is regenerative, renewable

Wind, water, fire and air

She Is ...the home of human life

No other planet can compare

Do we owe it to our birthplace

To demand respect, lend a hand

You’re one of 7 billion people

Living on Her sacred land

The time is Now for us to act

As one eternal heart

She is Gaia: womb of humanity

Connected from the start
